It's been a long time since I have blogged, but I promise to be better.  This past year has seen many changes in our lives, the biggest being that my elderly mom (88) has moved in with us.  That means no more dining room, but we are joyful to have her here.
We sew together every day and she has become a Bonnie Hunter crumb freak!  She could make crumbs all day.  I am just starting the Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt and am really excited about it.  This is my first mystery.  I will post pictures as soon as I take some.  It's good to be back and please visit often.

Okay, so the 2 yr. old left on Monday with mom, dad, brother, and pa-pa in tow.  Dear Jack had to go down so mommy sould fly to California on business.  I had to quit my perfect job in the world today bercause of my bad hearing, I  just couldn't understand anymore.
If yuou ever get to NW Ohio, there is a quilt shop called the DOORMOUSE>Best shop in Ohio, 16,000 bolts of top nothch fabrics you can imagime.The best and niccest goupe in all the world.  There is not question these ladies can't answer and give you very sound advice. Also, our little 2 yr. old went into a walking cast yesterday, so papa tells me he's hell on 2 feet.  I'll see him tomarrow to give papa a rest.   7 more days till our trip to the South Pacific. Can"t wait!!!!  Keep quilting and I start again as soon as we return.  Keep quilting all, and I will join you all soon.

Well, it's going to be a busy week.  I have one of my 87 yr. old mother's quilts on the longarm, our 2 yr. old grandson (who has a broken leg!) is here for the week so that mom and dad can go to work,  and numerous appointments will fill all of our days.  All of this, plus if I don"t quilt soon I'll go bonkers.  Do any of you have weeks like this?  We should form a club so we can cry on each others shoulders, because believe me, no one else wants to hear it.  18 more days until  vacation!!!!!!

Hi all.  This is my first post and I wanted to introduce myself.  My name is Jan and my husband is Jack.  We have been married 42 yrs. this coming Valentines Day.  We have 2 grown sons, 2 wonderful DILs and 2 precious grandsons ( I promise I won't use your names or pictures unless you give me permission). We love to cruise and will be leaving March 4 for a 30 day cruise of the South Pacfic on the Holland American ship, Rotterdam.  This is truly the trip of a lifetime.

I have been quilting for 30 years and I love it all.  I just started longarm quilting last year and haven't gotten to put a lot of hours in on it yet, but I'm trying.  I have a Handi-Quilter Avante and so far I love it.

I hope I can be a faithful blogger, I hate it when bloggers I follow only post every 2 months!!!  Do let me hear from you if you have any suggestions, comments, or questions.
